Franck Ranera has extensive experience in Earth Observation (EO) solutions for disaster management. His expertise began at ESA in the early 2000s, where he contributed to the "International Charter on Space and Major Disasters." He further honed his skills during more than a decade at Airbus, where he played a pivotal role in designing and operating the Copernicus Emergency Management Service and served as a UN expert in various missions in developing countries. In 2023, Franck joined ICEYE to spearhead the development of new capabilities enabled by the world’s largest SAR satellite constellation. Combining a robust technical background with financial analysis expertise, his goal is to eliminate barriers and make these advanced technologies accessible.
