The session will provide an opportunity for the participants to share their needs, requirements, and insights on how the EU Space data and services related to Earth Observation, satellite positioning and secure communications, provided by Copernicus, Galileo/EGNOS, and European SATCOM, can contribute to this sector today and in the future.
Some topics that will be discussed related to fisheries are vessel monitoring and catch optimisation ; and related to aquaculture are operations optimisation. The last one with special focus on seaweed farming.
The opening for Fisheries and Aquaculture will take place at the same time as for the Maritime and Inland Waterways session at 9:00 CEST. Please consult the session agenda and enrol in the morning session.
