Valentin Barreau has been working for SNCF for the past 5 years as head of the SNCF Train Localisation team and as expert in localisation and data fusion. Valentin studied at the National School of Civil Aviation (ENAC) and obtained an electrical engineering master degree with specialisation in radionavigation before working in different companies in the GNSS and navigation industry. He notably worked at Septentrio as GNSS/INS research engineer and was technical lead of several research projects at Telespazio before joining SNCF.
