Stefan Schlüter joined the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in 1995, where he has worked extensively on ionospheric modeling and GNSS correction techniques. Over the years, he has contributed to numerous ESA projects related to the Galileo and EGNOS satellite navigation systems.
In 2010, he was seconded to the EGNOS Systems Engineering Team at the ESA Project Office in Toulouse, serving as an expert on ionosphere-related and maritime topics. He returned to DLR in 2018, and in 2019 was appointed Head of the Department of Systems Analysis and Evolution at the Galileo Competence Center of DLR.
Mr. Schlüter also serves as the project manager of the COMPASSO project, a mission to demonstrate optical clocks in space.
