Stamatia Rizou is R&D manager at SingularLogic, where she lead a team of 10 researchers in the areas of data technologies and AI-enabled applications. She holds a PhD degree in the field of distributed systems from the University of Stuttgart and she has more than 10 years’ experience as principal investigator in European funded R&D projects. She has been technical coordinator of several EU projects and currently she is acting as project coordinator in two Horizon Europe projects, BUILDSPACE and INHERIT. She has been awarded a MSCA fellowship for her research in the area of Cloud computing and she has been industrial supervisor of more than 5 PhD students in topics related to IoT, cloud computing and data technologies.
