Telecommunications Engineer with a bachelor’s degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a master’s degree from the University of Bologna. Her academic background includes international experience and active involvement in university-led innovation initiatives. She began her professional career as a researcher at the University of Bologna, before joining the Innovative Research Division within the Research and Development Department of RFI. Her work focuses on the strategic integration of emerging technologies into the railway sector and the coordination of multidisciplinary research activities. She is the coordinator of the European research project VICE4RAIL, funded by EUSPA, which investigates the integration of satellite technologies into the ERTMS system to enhance positioning capabilities and operational efficiency in railway environments. In addition to her European responsibilities, she manages national research projects in collaboration with universities and research institutions, aimed at fostering innovation across various technological domains.
