Graduate of the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw with a specialisation in geophysics. As Development Director for international and Polish companies, Monika has many years of experience in professional electronics and space markets. At CloudFerro, responsible for large projects related to building archives for storing and sharing ‘Big Data’ and cloud computing based on open source tools. The largest of these are the Copernicus Data Access Service offering more than 35PB (and eventually 100 PB) of Sentinel constellation data and Data Lake which will store data related to the modelling of the Earth's digital twins (Digital Twins). Co-author of H2020-funded R&D projects related to Earth observation and cloud computing (e.g. AI4Copernicsu). Member of the Board of Directors of the EARSC (European Association of Remote Sensing Companies) since 2023, Vice-Chair of the GAIA-X Committee of PIIT https://piit.org.pl/o-nas/komitety/gaia-x/monika-krzyzanowska and member of the Working Group for National Smart Specialisation 10 - Smart Networks and Technologies.
