Dr Maxime Lalire holds an engineering degree in fisheries science from Agrocampus Ouest (Rennes, France) and a PhD in marine biology and applied mathematics. Since 2017, he has been studying at CLS the influence of oceanographic conditions on the distribution of pelagic species as well as on fishing activity. In this context, he uses artificial intelligence methods to improve predictions of fisheries resource distribution based on environmental conditions.
