Matteo Paonni is the Deputy Head of the Unit for Space, Connectivity and Economic Security at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. Under his position Matteo coordinates the JRC technical and policy support to the EU Satellite Navigation Programmes. He is also the chair of the Galileo 2nd Generation Signals Task Force, established at the European Commission to coordinate the evolution of Galileo signals.
