Margot Angibaud is a Policy Advisor at Europêche, the leading association representing professional fishers and fisheries at EU level. She began her professional journey in research institutions in Canada and the United States before moving into fieldwork as a scientific diver for environmental organisations in the French Caribbean and Italy. She subsequently transitioned into fisheries policy, working with the French National Committee for Marine Fisheries and Aquaculture before joining Europêche. Her work is driven by a strong conviction that a thriving fishing sector and healthy oceans can go hand in hand, and that cooperation and mutual understanding are essential to achieving sustainable solutions.
