Jiří is co-founder and CTO of STRATOSYST. He specializes in off-grid solar power systems and lithium-ion energy storage systems. He has over 12 years of professional experience in the design of power systems for the telecommunications, solar energy and energy storage industries, and 6 years of experience in the research and development of advanced lithium-ion energy storage and battery management systems. He originally founded STRATOSYST to explore the potential of the stratosphere for astronomical observation. As he explored the possible markets for HAPS (High Altitude Pseudo Satellites) he changed his focus to Earth Observation, GNSS and Telco applications and is now working full time for the last 5 years to realize his original vision.
