In his current role Iztok pushing the transition to a more Digital and a Cleaner - Zero Emission transport in Slovenia within urban and regional transport context. Iztok is passionate about it and advocates with different stakeholders across the country and EU wide to facilitate the achieving of the missions “Smart”, “Seamless” and “Zero Emission”. Within the 20 years of experience within Arriva on different positions Iztok has acquired legal, operational, commercial and technical skills which are helpful when planning, negotiating and deploying Smart, Digital and Zero Emission operations.
Iztok is amongst other roles responsible for the relationships between Arriva, who is in Slovenia the biggest regional transport and tendered urban transport operator, and its key PTAs – the State and the Cities. Iztok firmly believes that an open approach to sharing knowledge and experience is helpful to speed up the roll-out of Digital, Smart and Zero Emission technologies in public transport.
