Dr. Eva Maria Haas is Head of Strategic Accounts at EOMAP, a Fugro company and leading provider of satellite-derived aquatic information. Since 2020 she has built and managed EOMAP's relationships with key commercial and governmental clients worldwide, helping them use satellite data on coastal, marine and inland waters in their daily operations. Her focus is on turning Earth observation into measurable value for customers, with greater efficiency, lower costs and reduced project risk. She promotes the use of satellite-based water information across sectors, and leads business development and R&D activities in innovation projects. She serves on the Board of Directors of EARSC. Eva studied geography and Earth observation, carried out her doctoral research at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre and then worked as a department lead in industry before joining EOMAP.
