Eirini is a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Department of Geology and Geoenvironment of Athens. The thesis she prepared in the context of her undergraduate program is related to Geo-radar measurements for the accurate detection of buried linear targets. In addition, she has completed her Master's degree in the Netherlands, at the University of Utrecht (UU), in the program "Earth Structure and Dynamics" and more specifically in "Physics of Deep Earth and Planets", gaining the title of Geophysicist. As part of her postgraduate studies, she completed her thesis, where she worked on the Finite Element Method for modelling an asteroid using radar. Although her specialisation is focused on geophysics, her interest in remote sensing methods is remarkable. She has participated in research projects as part of her internship, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
