Andras Varadi graduated from the Budapest University of Technology and Business, and has decade-long experience in the field of vehicle communications. He started his career at Lesswire, where besides the coordination of research projects his main task was to lead prototyping projects based on the ITS related extensions of network mobility (NEMO) and IPv6.
He joined Commsignia in 2015 as a product manager, later founded and directed the research team and currently acts as a Strategic Product Director since 2025. He is responsible for key product activities as well as bridging between the company’s various verticals. He is an established expert of V2X and automotive positioning systems. He is a Steering Committee member at Car2Car Consortium and vice-chair of ConSens at 5GAA, also chairs Hungary at ISO TC204 and CEN 278 workgroups. He is member of the board at ITS Hungary.
