Alvaro Prida holds an MSc in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Hydraulic Structures and Flood Risk. Since joining AXA Climate in 2020 as a Flood Risk Specialist, he has conducted both present and future flood risk assessments for clients in both the public and private sectors. Based on these assessments, Alvaro designs flood mitigation and adaptation strategies, which include evaluating the feasibility of preventive measures and developing risk transfer solutions, such as flood parametric insurance products.
