Tourism and Cultural Heritage

Description

In the tourism and cultural heritage sectors, EU Space data enables the development of tools based on environmental monitoring data and climate change forecasts to support strategic decision-making, mitigate climate risks and monitor environmental impacts.

Thanks to groundbreaking developments in 3D rendering techniques, companies are increasingly using EGNSS-powered drones and photogrammetry cameras to preserve detailed digital copies of landmarks and implement them in new immersive applications.

This session will discuss the needs and opportunities for these innovative EO- and GNSS-based solutions, allowing participants to share feedback with EUSPA and the Copernicus programme and shape the future of EU Space services.
